About Us
Health Sciences & Safety Institue (HSSI) is the health department of Notting Hill College.
We are an education institution dedicated to providing programmes of educational excellence for current and future health professionals with the option to study through distance learning and through a state-of-the-art virtual campus.
We are committed to international collaboration to promote wider recognition, mobility and cooperation between partner institutions to gain international experience in the wider global community. We actively seek to establish collaboration in new markets, as well as continually developing our range of collaborators in the markets where HSSI has a notable presence.

We are also here to inspire and create the space for people to make lasting improvements to health services with our continuous conferences and events. We conduct research and evaluation, put ideas into practice through a range of improvement programmes, support and develop leaders and share evidence to drive wider change.

HSSI is also an affiliate of HSE Recruitment Networks that believe in matching qualified healthcare and safety candidates with the right positions.
Mission Statement
We strive to create a world where healthcare and safety systems are of the highest possible quality and are effective, person-centered, timely, efficient and equitable. We believe health services and safety systems need to continually improve the way they work to achieve this in an ever evolving world which is what we at HSSI endeavour to do.

Notting Hill College boasts a list of accreditations & credentials guaranteeing their programmes’ quality, such as the British Accreditation Council. Their adherence to the standards of the training industry has enabled them to establish & maintain a global reputation for top-of-the-line courses & services.

HSSI graduates are awarded certificates from Notting Hill College and can authenticate their certificates whenever they need to with NHC Lifetime Verification Service.
Credentials through Notting Hill College
Accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education as an Online, Distance and Blended Learning provider.
BAC was established in 1984 to provide a comprehensive quality assurance scheme for independent further and higher education in the UK. BAC accreditation is recognised globally as a mark of educational quality in the private sector.
A listed training provider of Trinity College London (Centre number: LSCP1076). Trinity College London is a UK-wide provider of the Secure English Language Test, or SELT, approved by the Home Office. The SELT is applicable to UKVI visa applications for Further Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship.
Students training for the SELT will be enrolled at Notting Hill College’s language school, Think English.

Our Partnerships
Think English is the English language department of Notting Hill College. It is an innovative online language learning platform that leverages the latest learning technologies to provide personalised and engaging English language learning experiences.
