LEVEL 2 AWARD IN SUPERVISING STAFF SAFELY

Overview

An accredited qualification for anyone with responsibility for the health and safety of others. This qualification helps you gain a thorough understanding of key health and safety elements as well as practical knowledge to promote health and safety in the workplace.

The qualification is ideal for supervisors, team leaders, department heads and junior managers, providing them with the practical knowledge and understanding necessary to their role in promoting health and safety in the workplace

Program’s Highlights:

A Level 2 qualification recognises the ability to gain a good knowledge and understanding of supervising staff, and to perform varied tasks as a safety manager or supervisor. Learning at this level involves building knowledge and/or skills in relation to safety management and supervision and is appropriate for many safety job roles.

Course Structure

The vast majority of occupational injuries and incidents of ill-health can be avoided by good health and safety management. With this in mind, we offer the BSC Level 2 Award in Supervising Staff Safely, a nationally-recognised qualification aimed at those with responsibility for the health and safety of others.

This course is delivered in 18 hours in two or three successive days.

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the objectives of management systems to support health and safety in the workplace
  • Examine workplace procedures to minimise the threat of hazards and risks

LEVEL 2 AWARD IN RISK ASSESSMENT

Overview

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require every employer and self-employed person to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the health and safety risks to employees and others not in their employment in order to put in place appropriate control measures.

This course is designed for employers and self-employed people to undertake proficient assessments of health and safety risks . It complies with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and contains the essential knowledge of the risk assessment process.

Learning at this level involves building knowledge and/or skills in relation to risk assessment and is appropriate for many safety job roles.

  • Bachelor degree deemed to be in the appropriate discipline, as approved by the executive dean
  • Vocational experience; Professionals specialising in sales is recommended.
Programme structure

The Diploma in for Medical Representatives Requires 24 credit s equivalent of 12 courses and 3 credits of project work. Students can choose from the following delivery styles.
